At first glance, visiting ghost towns may seem like a fun and perhaps, even creepy thing to do while exploring. But in reality, ghost towns are decaying corollaries of what once was. These are places where people lived, worked & slept and even raised families. Ghost towns are open time capsules. Below, you’ll find a few places that I have visited in past years that have left an impression.
Once you get past the “ghost” tangent and actually look at the remains, you’ll realize, you’re really looking at someone’s life. Or at least, the remains of those who tried.
